AMS 5622 ESR High Quality Aerospace Grade is usually produced by VOD / VIM followed by electroslag refining (ESR) / VAR if necessary for special purpose. A Premium Aircraft-quality Corrosion-resistant Steel in the form of Bars, Wire, Forgings. ALLOY STEEL TECHNICAL DATASHEET - Grade AMS 5622 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION ( Mass weight % ) C (％): ≤ 0.07, Si (％): ≤ 1.00, Mn (％): ≤ 1.00, P (％)≤: 0.025, S (％)≤: 0.015 Cr (％): 15.0～17.5, Ni (％): 3.00 ~ 5.00, Cu (％): 3.00 ~ 5.00, Nb (%): 5 X C ~ 0.45 Mo (％): ≤ 0.50, Fe (%): balance.
